Even if you don't know the man, you've definitely seen some of his work. He's been a writer on some of the best sitcoms of recent years, if not ever. Still don't know who we're talking about? Well for your enjoyment we've compiled a list of his top 5 shows.
No.5; SNL

Now I'm not going to claim that SNL is a sitcom, or that Mike Schur wrote the whole thing but I will say that he's been a part of writing 138 episodes and he appeared in 3. SNL is where any funny writer wants to be so it was definitely the place for Mike.
No.4; Brooklyn 99

What happens when an experienced writer gets together with a group of experienced actors? Well, Brooklyn 99 happens. Schur co-wrote an co-produced this wonderful sitcom along with Dan Goor. He helped create the show and has written two episodes as well as directing two others.
No.3; The Office

Mike was part of a large writing team on the office and, like most of the other writers, acted on the show as well. He played fan favourite Mose, cousin of Dwight. Although he wasn't a main character, fans still hold him dear to their heart.
No.2; Parks and Recreation

Schur was the director and executive producer of Parks and Rec. He wrote 19 episodes, directed 9 episodes and made a small non-speaking cameo in Season 6 episode: "Second Chunce". Schur seemed to have a lot of fun working on this show as he said “There was nothing I loved more than working on this show, it felt like the most important thing that I would ever do."
No.1: The Good Place

The Good Place is Mike Schur's biggest achievement, because it's so different to everything else on TV. After working on three workplace comedies, he decided to take the logical next step... which apparently is the after life? It's unconventional but it works so well
